Help with a basic C++ project please(credit card interest related)? ?

Could anyone please help me with some of the errors in this code? Here is the assignment:

Complete programming project 6 on page 243.

Read the description carefully, insure that you allow the user a choice to run the program or exit.

The function prototype is:

Your initial output to the user should be something like this:

Enter: initial balance, monthly interest rate as

Here is a the main error from the compiler:

error: ‘initAccumulated’ was not declared in this scope

I know I need to declare this but when I do it causes even more errors. Also, there is a logic error because the Accumulated interest is only equal to the value entered for the balance. Please help!

I have a 0 credit balance on all my cards. One of them expired and a renewal card was automatically mailed to me. If i choose not to activate this card (i.e, I call to cancel because I have too many cards that I dont use anyway), will my credit score be affected negatively?

I have got a new credit card with 0% purchase offer for 10 months and 0% on balance transfer also for 10 months. I was wondering if I could use my new credit card to pay off balance on my old credit card rather than go for the balance transfer option which incurs 3% fee? Doing this will not be in the interest of credit card company (losing 3% fee). So can I have balance transfered without paying the balance transfer fee?

I just graduated from college and I need to get my first credit card but my bank turned me down for theirs because I didn’t have a job at the time I applied during school. I am trying to find a job but right now it’s not working so well…. If I try to apply for the discover student card, and check the box that says "non-student" and still get turned down, will it affect my credit score? I don’t even know when to apply then if it will only hurt me! I’m very responsible and 22 so I really don’t want a cosigned card with my parents, really now?

I’m going to grad school next fall, so even though i’m not technically a student, I will be again soon.

I just got a credit card with 0% APR for the first year. I only have 1 other credit card which I pay off in full every month. If I make at least the minimum payments on the 0% APR card and make sure the balance is paid off completely before the end of the year, will my credit score be negatively effected?

I just paid off my car so I have an extra 0 per month to throw at my credit card debt which is not THAT bad actually. So here it is. I have one card that’s 29%, one that’s 24%, one that’s 16%, one that’s 9%, and one that is 0% interest which I’m not worried about.

I have been paying down the 29% card & focusing on that only until I get it down to a zero balance & then I’ll keep the card. My husband thinks I should only pay that card down to around 0-0 dollars and move on to knocking down the next card a bit. Why? Am I just not understanding his point? Why pay 0 per month to a card with a lower interest rate & continue leaving a balance on the higher interest card? He says it’s the available balance per card that matters. I thought it was your available credit vs. amount owed on ALL cards combined that effect your credit?

Help?
