Can I use 0% purchase offer to transfer balance and avoid 3% balance transfer fee?

I have got a new credit card with 0% purchase offer for 10 months and 0% on balance transfer also for 10 months. I was wondering if I could use my new credit card to pay off balance on my old credit card rather than go for the balance transfer option which incurs 3% fee? Doing this will not be in the interest of credit card company (losing 3% fee). So can I have balance transfered without paying the balance transfer fee?

How long is the wait to apply for a new credit card after Personal Bancruptcy?

I filed for chapter 13 Personal Bancruptcy 7 years ago. I was just wondering: How long can someone wait to aquire a new line of credit; Is it 7 or 10 years now? I’m asking Because recently my Personal Bank sent me a Pre-Approved Unsecured Credit Card Application via the net. I filled it up w/ my Personal Info. Thinking it was just a fluke then after about a week,Lo and behold ,a Brand Spanking New Unsecured Credit Card w/ my name on it! Right After that, i applied with another Credit card company via the net, but it said that it can’t process my application at this time. Iv’e been out of the hole for 7 years now so do you think is it ok to apply for more New lines of credit?…any info or suggestions is highly appreciated ,God Bless & Thanks a million in advance!

How should I re-establish bad credit with credit card companies? I've never been defauler for utilties, city ?

I lived in Austin TX for at least 6 years. I got very good credit but during the last 2 years i didn’t have proper jobs and used to get unemployment still i was making minimum payments. But for the last 6 months i got stuck up hand to mouth and couldn’t make the payment and credit card companies put me on collection inspite of the fact that i used to make payments on monthly payment protection plan. Anyway now I’m in the position to at least continue making minimum payments is there any fed program to convince credit card company to stop hearting the credit cosidering the present econmic condition and they shouldn’t assume that every1 is the same?

Any credit cards that regularly offer fixed 0% balance transfers?

I have a Citi card that once in awhile offers fixed APRs of 3.99% or 4.99% for the life of the loan, or 0% for 6-9 months. I have about k credit limit. My Capital One on the other hand stinks at a ,400 credit limit. Anyways, I’m thinking of doing a balance transfer from the Citi card to my checking account for $$$ and putting the $$$ in another bank that gives 5.20% interest, giving me about ,300 at the end of the year. I then pay the credit card in full.

In other words, I’ll borrow the credit card company’s money to make money. What I’m really looking for are credit cards that offer high credit limits and occassionally offers 0% interest rates for 6 months or more, with no more than 0 balance transfer fee, so I can make money off of them.

If you know of them from experience, please let me know. For example, if you have a Chase credit card or something that offers something similar occassionally, please respond.

Thanks in advance.
Yep, I understand very well how credit card companies work. When I do the balance transfer, I do not touch the credit card at all because I know my payments I make will go towards the lowest APR amount first, effectively leaving my high APR amounts accruing interest.

I will only do this with 0% balance transfers if it’s fixed with no other gimmicks. Plus I have real good credit and am responsible in paying my bills on time.
